Michael Deutsch

Michael Deutsch has been an agent for NHL players since 1994.  Together with Scott Greenspun, he co-founded Eclipse Sports Management in 1995, and has been a certified agent since the NHLPA’s inception of its certification program in 1996.  During his nearly 20 year career as an agent, Mr. Deutsch has negotiated numerous multi-million dollar contracts for professional ice hockey players around the world, including those in the NHL, KHL, Czech Extraliga, Finnish SM-Liiga, Swedish Elitserien and the German Elite League.

Mike has also been a guest lecturer regarding the NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement at both New York University and Adelphi University, and has served as a Panel Member at the American Bar Association's Annual Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries, where he commented on "Ethical Considerations and Obligations of Lawyers Who Counsel Artists and Athletes on Investment Management Issues."

Mike is a Member of the New York and New Jersey Bars, along with various federal courts, as well as the Bar Association of the City of New York.  He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in 1988, and his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1992.

Mike lives together with his wife and children on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
